Understanding the Transformations in the Media Industry
The media industry is undergoing a radical transformation driven by technological changes as well as changes in the habits of how people access information. Convergence of different media formats is blurring the traditional boundaries between print, radio, television and online media. Moreover, the revenue streams and cost structure of media organizations have changed causing them to rethink their long-standing business models.
This forum seeks to explore these issues and have a broad ranging discussion on the forces shaping the media industry and the innovative ways in which organizations are adapting.
